Books for Kids is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing literacy and educational opportunities to underserved communities around the world. We collect used books, raise funds for international shipping and educational supplies, and deliver these resources directly to schools, orphanages, and community centers in need. Since our founding, we've reached 5 countries, delivered over 5,000+ books, and impacted more than 8,323 students.

We currently operate in 5 countries across multiple continents:

• Namibia - Karabib Primary School and surrounding communities
• Nicaragua - Rural village schools with limited resources
• Thailand - Orphanages in Chiang Rai
• China - Schools in Beijing and other regions
• United States - Local community centers and disaster relief efforts

Yes, Books for Kids operates as a registered nonprofit organization. We are committed to transparency and accountability in all our operations. 100% of book donations go directly to the communities we serve, and we carefully track how funds are used to ensure maximum impact.

We have over 200 active volunteers who help in various ways:

• Book sorting and packing - Help organize and prepare books for shipping
• Fundraising events - Organize or participate in community fundraisers
• Social media - Help spread awareness through online platforms
• Translation services - Help translate materials for international partners
• On-the-ground support - Join delivery trips if you're traveling to our partner countries

Not at all! We welcome volunteers of all backgrounds and skill levels. Whether you have a few hours a month or can commit more time, there's a meaningful way for you to contribute. We provide training and support for all volunteer activities.

Yes! Many of our volunteers help remotely by:

• Managing social media and online fundraising campaigns
• Creating graphics and promotional materials
• Writing blog posts and impact stories
• Translating documents and communications
• Providing administrative support
